195 Lewis: episode 1-5

This dramedy TV series is about a group of black polyamorous lesbian women who explore themselves and their relationships with great honesty, against the background of the lively and swarming Bed-Stuy, in Brooklyn.

When the authors Yaani Supreme and Rae Leone Allen, proposed 195 Lewis to Chanelle Aponte Pearson, they had a spark: “We talked for hours about being queer and polyamorous in Brooklyn and about the fact that none of it had ever been shown. We were excited by the idea of creating a new project reflecting the experiences we were observing in our community”.
