DEATH IN BUENOS AIRES (Muerte en Buenos Aires)

The rugged and honest inspector Chavez must investigate a crime that took place in the high society of Buenos Aires. The investigation quickly leads him to the gay scene and the gay clubs in the city; Chávez decides to get help from a young policeman, Gómez, who will have to act undercover. But the relationship between the two men quickly takes an unexpected turn, which ends up complicating the investigation and unsettling Chavez’s certainties. Natalia Meta creates a fascinating thriller, which moves on several levels while respecting the canons of the genre. An incredible setting, Buenos Aires in the 80s, and a memorable soundtrack.
