Happy Hour

by Alessandro Bernardeschi and Mauro Paccagnella
Interpreters: Alessandro Bernardeschi and Mauro Paccagnella
A Wooshing Machine production
From a collaboration (and friendship) that has lasted twenty years, Alessandro Bernardeschi and Mauro Paccagnella give life to a choreographic project that sees them engaged in a sort of ‘work in progress’. With Happy Hour, the fourth phase of their project, the two dancers/performers retrace, through 10 choreographies and a constant and direct dialogue with the public, their lives and their memories of teenagers who grew up in Italy in the 70s. A performance that humorously mixes biography and fiction: 1977 and the Dadaumpa, Bob Dylan and Claudio Monteverdi, giving us a happy hour: a chance to escape from our daily lives for one hour.
