L’amore cieco (Blind Love)

L’amore cieco (Blind love) is an acting workshop about the perception and building of the emotional, sexual and artistic identity, loosely based on the book Touching the rock: an experience of blindness by John M. Hull.

Could the essence of blind love change us, reveal what upsets our lives, exactly where is our freedom to escape a role we perceive as unchangeable? The workshop is open to every gender, sighted and blind people, of all ages, even with no prior acting experience.

As guides to this experience workshop, the blind, sighted and visually impaired actors and actresses of the company Orbitateatro, founded in 2011 within the training scheme and the show production project ”l’ Arte della trasformazione (the art of transformation)” by Martina Palmieri.
