Switzerland, summer of 1976.On his family’s farm, Gus, a thirteen-years-old boy, witnesses the collapse of the reassuring world that he has always known: the advancing of capitalism ruins his father’s farming business, as his mother (Laetitia Casta), rebel against gender roles, starts a lesbian relationship with her friend Cécile.

Delphine Lehericey is a Swiss director. She studied art and entertainment at the University of Paris. In 2007 she made a medium-length film presented at the Locarno Film Festival and the following years she co-directed two documentaries. In 2013 she made her first feature film entitled PuppyLove, which premiered at the San Sebastián festival. With Le Milieu de l’horizon, her second feature film, she received the Swiss Film Award for Best Film and Best Scenario.
