IETM 2015 – MEET THE MEETING!
In 2015, after 10 years, the IETM Meeting returns to Italy, from the 23rd to the 27th of April in Bergamo. The Associazione Etre, Italian organizers of the Meeting, is participating in Italian festivals with a format dedicated to presenting the project and demonstrating the themes which will be discussed in 2015.
IETM is a platform of meetings and exchanges for the operators in the performing arts field, with a dynamic character and a forward-looking gaze towards the future and innovation. Its objective is to stimulate the quality, the context and the presence of contemporary live performance on a global level, proposing itself as a mediator for connections, information exchange, competence transferral and the extension of best practices. Today, the network has over 550 members in 50 countries all over the world.
The Meeting is organised twice a year and is also open to non-members, with between 600 and 800 participants. Its aim is to create a chance to meet and discuss, which allows the operators to create relationships and get to know each other, but also to discuss the most important themes relating to the performing arts.
Gender Bender, in collaboration with VIE Festival and Emilia Romagna Teatro, welcomes into its programme a presentation by the Meeting dedicated for the operators of live performance in Bologna and the Emilia Romagna region interested in making the most of this occasion for networking on an international level.
