Presentation of the book “Donnissima” (Rizzoli, 2016)
Enza Caruso, the protagonist of this book, has to manage a marriage which is coming to its close, a mother with a phobia of spinsters, and a group of friends eager to fix her up with other men. But she prefers to devote herself to her work: cleaning in an elegant Art Nouveau building in Milan. She is the person the inhabitants of the building turn to when Augusto, the pug belonging to old Mrs. Galli, disappears into thin air, perhaps kidnapped by the dreaded Group of South American domestic workers who are taking over the neighbourhood.
