Rebel rebel – a homage to David Bowie

For the occasion of the exhibition David Bowie is at the MAMbo Museo d’Arte Moderna in Bologna, Gender Bender has promoted a contest for bands, who are invited to perform live a cover version chosen from David Bowie’s songs. The bands, already chosen, will battle live and will be judged by a high quality jury, made up of Andy Fluon (Bluvertigo), Federico Poggipollini, Angela Baraldi, Vittoria Burattini (Massimo Volume), Ernesto Assante (La Repubblica), Mario Luzzatto Fegiz (il Corriere) and Simona Orlando (il Messaggero), Antonia Peressoni (Indie Pride – Garrincha Dischi – Irma Records) and Giordano Sangiorgi, patron of MEI – Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti. The winning band will receive 800 euros.
