Zaynab is a lawyer in Chicago, she’s Pakistani, Lesbian, Muslim and, on top of that, she’s fond of wrestling: a little too much for her mother Parveen who, totally unaware of everything, stays at home all day watching Pakistani soap operas and dreaming of a boyfriend and a future family for her daughter. When Zaynab meets Alma, who’s Mexican, things get even more complicated.

In the Trump era, Signature Move is a tribute to America’s multicultural heart and to its long tradition of hospitality and respect for diversity: ethnic, sexual and generational.
