This piece reflects on the speed of our time, on the excessive production of information on a daily basis, and on therelationship that we establish with technological objects. On the scene, the computer becomes the choreographer’s alterego, as selfie sticks become extensions of her body.
Masako Matsushita is an Italian-Japanese artist who works with movement analysis throughdifferent research processes, performances and social experiments. She creates structures andatmospheres in which it is possible to explore ways of transmission and archiving, together with theconcepts of identity and tradition. She is one of the founders of 4bid Gallery Amsterdam. In 2018she won the Prospettiva Danza 2018 Award and was selected for the New Italian Dance Platform2019 and for Aerowaves Twenty20. Masako is involved in two European projects: DancingMuseum 2-The Democracy of Being (2019/2021) and Museum of Human E-Motion (2019/2020).
