The Biblioteca del Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature e Culture Moderne (LILEC) of Bologna University, the Progetto dell’Unione Europea Marie Curie GRACE, the Master Erasmus Mundus GEMMA have organised the exhibition of a library collection belonging to Radclyffe Hall (1880-1943), which has been donated to the Library.

Una solitudine controversa: rileggere Radclyffe Hall (A controversial solitude, reinterpreting Radclyffe Hall) intends to reflect on the history and (possible) actuality of the English author.

Partecipants: Roberto Vecchi (Direttore Dipartimento LILEC), Elena Luppi (Delegata del Rettore alle Pari Opportunità), Daniele Del Pozzo (Festival Gender Bender), Rita Monticelli (GRACE e GEMMA), Alessandro Zironi (Università di Bologna), Annamaria Tagliavini (Direttrice Biblioteca Italiana delle Donne, Associazione Orlando, Bologna), Tiziana Triana (Direttrice editoriale, Fandango Libri), Claudio Marrucci (Translator), Eleanor Drage, Wilmarie Rosado Pérez (researchers for Marie Curie GRACE. The meeting will be followed by the screening of the short film Misunderstood: The Trials and Triumphs of Radclyffe Hall.
