A captivating and visionary black-and-white fantasy-horror film in which cult director Bertrand Mandico uses six female figures in order to reimagine the famous character of Conann, the barbarian-hero who was the main character in the adventures created by Robert E. Howard. A work full of expressive and formal virtuosities that deconstruct the ordinary development of stories and make the narrative fluid and original.

Accessibility Cinema Lumière
Bertrand Mandico graduated from the Gobelins animation academy and was the author of short films, medium-length films and experimental essays. His films are often interested in the fluidity of the body and gender and incorporate photographic and written elements. In 2012, together with the Icelandic director Katrín Ólafsdóttir, he wrote a Manifesto of incoherence which declared that: «being incoherent means having faith in cinema, a romantic, unformatted, free, estranged and dreamlike, cinegenic approach, with an epic narrative».
