Marta Bellu
Marta Bellu Choreographer, dancer and psychologist, she is interested in practices of awareness and expression that involve the mind-body system in an artistic, ecological and social sense. Her choreographic research, in dialogue with musical composition, explores the relationship between body, sound, light, environment and landscape.
She has been involved in inclusive dance, in particular with people with intellectual disabilities, since 2015 within the project Iniziali , creating in 2021 the show “I versi delle Mani”, supported by the ministerial project Rifrazioni , with the dancer with Down syndrome Laura Lucioli, with whom she shares the management of the inclusive laboratory “Glitter” and new inclusive choreographic research projects. With the multidisciplinary group Trifoglio, with the musician and biologist Donato Epiro and the light designer Andrea Sanson, she creates “Acquitrini” (2023), “Iride” (2023) and “Where else?” (2020). Since 2019 she has been an associated artist of Versiliadanza and in 2021 she is among the founders of A Corpo Vivo , based in Cagliari, with which she creates projects and laboratories that intertwine ecology and artistic practice. Since 2013 she has collaborated as an interpreter with the choreographer Cristina Kristal Rizzo; worked with the Nanou Group and in 2020 with the Swiss choreographer Yasmine Hugonnet. Since 2015 she has been involved in artistic training in schools with the Fosca Association and since 2020 with Tempo Reale. Currently, after completing a Master in Neuroscience and Contemplative Practices, she dedicates herself to the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism at the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute.
