reflections around desire and disability

Pierluigi Lenzi and director Teresa Sala talk with Valeria Alpi

The sexuality of people with disabilities remains a topic that is often hidden and fraught with prejudice. How can we address it by freeing ourselves from the most common stereotypes? This question is answered by the audiovisual project by independent director Teresa Sala and Pierluigi Lenzi, poet and activist with disabilities.
A documentary and a short fiction film that are both an affirmation and a provocation. Pier takes us inside his desires, explores cruising (the search for sexual encounters in public places), and works as a camboy for fun and to be seen and desired.
He does so by talking about himself, discovering the pleasure of being watched and flirting with the camera. Pier is the affirmation of an existence that reiterates the need for a new way of looking, conceiving, and narrating.
