The power of imagination predisposes bodies to movement and interaction with the world. The artistic encounter between dancer and choreographer Cristina Kristal Rizzo and Diana Anselmo, a deaf performer bilingual in Italian and Italian Sign Language, is the starting point for a workshop that aims to be a place for interaction and community.
Through physical practices, we will explore different modes, postures, and dialogues in search of a dance that is sensitive to the expressive power of bodies and sharing, allowing everyone, deaf and non-deaf alike, to come together and form an ecosystem capable of overcoming the barriers of language and culture.
