Fuga BWV 565 is a choreographic project built around running as a sporting activity—a metaphor for a paradoxical existential condition: that of someone moving yet remaining in place on a treadmill, fleeing from themselves and their circumstances in search of an ever-distant, elusive sense of well-being. This movement enters into dialogue with the Baroque fugue, a musical form defined by repetition, oscillation, and insistent rhythms.

Palermo and Petrosino continue their research into the nature of the performative act starting from everyday life, creating a minimal choreography of concrete gestures, poised on the border between reality and fiction.
