New appointment of Aspettando Gender Bender, the series of meetings with authors in anticipation of the 23rd edition of the festival.
Salvatore Falzone will present Brutale, his new novel published by 66thand2nd that lucidly tackles such pressing issues as sex, consent, violence in relationships between men, and reflects on what it really means to be part of a community.
The story revolves around Paolo and Giulio, two strangers who discover a common past behind the same school desks. An unmentionable adventure they now have to come to terms with and the discovery of a side of themselves that has been dormant for years intertwine their stories, showing us how sex is sometimes the key to revealing to ourselves who we really are.

Salvatore Falzone was born in Alexandria in 1998. A graduate in education, he is also a teacher on LGBTQ+ issues. In 2018, he made his debut for Marsilio with L’arte di rialzarsi. Brutale is his second novel.
