Dreams is the first film in the relationship trilogy (Dreams, Love, Sex) by Norwegian Dag Johan Haugerud. The film is an intense and touching work that explores themes of identity, self-determination and personal freedom.
Dreams tells the story of Johanne, a 17-year-old girl who develops an attraction to her teacher, generating family conflicts and reflections on identity and unrealized dreams. Through an engaging narrative and a powerful aesthetic, Dreams offers food for thought on the value of authenticity and courage in following one’s desires.
