In this, her second feature film, Eleonora Danco, director, playwright, performer and actress, collaborates with artists such as Filippo Timi and Elio Germano to create a sometimes surreal urban universe inhabited by faces, stories and human beings who finally manage to reveal their brightness.
“n-Ego” is an intense and free exploration of the human condition, a journey through the streets, where the director faces a deep creative and existential crisis. In search of authenticity, she immerses herself in different places, meets characters whose stories reflect her fears and desires. Each encounter becomes a reflection of her inner demons, transforming the lives of these individuals into pieces of an emotional mosaic. The director, disguised as a de Chirichiano mannequin with her face covered by a stocking and a cartridge belt of sleeping pills on her chest, is a scarred, scratched character, but one who still retains the unconscious spirit of childhood.
Through evocative images, a bold editing, and at a dramatic and entertaining pace, “n-Ego” transcends reality, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own existence in the labyrinth that is the chaos of Adult life.

Eleonora Danco is a director, playwright, performer, actress. Her first film N-CAPACE, produced by Rai Cinema, MIBACAT, Bibifilm won two special mentions at the 32nd Turin Film Festival, designated Best Film by the 2015 Sindacato Critici Cinematografici Italiani, nominated for the David di Donatello and Nastri D’argento and won the 2015 Ciak D’oro.
His debut in theater is in 1996 with Ragazze al muro, followed by Nessuno ci guarda, Ero purissima, among his best-known shows Me Vojo Sarva’, Sabbia, Intrattenimento Violento, Donna Numero 4, dEVERSIVO of 2017, BENVENUTE STELLE of 2023. In 2022 he made the short films SubReal Urbe, Ostia Ostia, Metro C.
He has published for the publishing house minimumfax and Skira. He wrote and directed for Radio Rai3 the radio documentary “The Void.” For over fifteen years she has directed workshops she designed for young actors and adolescents. As an actress she has worked with Daniele Luchetti, Luca Scivoletto, Nanni Moretti, Ettore Scola, Marco Bellocchio, Pupi Avati, Cristina Comencini, among others.
