Babilonia Teatri is a 2005 ensemble that walked decisively into the contemporary theater scene, distinguishing itself for a language that is variously defined as pop, rock, punk. The founders of the group, Enrico Castellani and Valeria Raimondi, compose dramaturgies with a unique pace, sort of litanies carved in the contradictions of today, brought on stage with a rebellious attitude. Babilonia Teatri is characterized by its irreverent and divergent look at today that shows the exposed nerves of our time. For an unconventional style that understands theater as a mirror of society and reality.
