Ezster Salamon
Eszter Salamon is a Hungarian-born dancer, choreographer, artist and performer. After training in ballet in Budapest, she moved to France in 1992 where she collaborated with several choreographers, including Sidonie Rochon and Mathilde Monnier. In 2000 together with Brenda Edwards she created “Où sont le femmes,” and participated in the creation of François Verret’s “Bartleby.” She later made the solo What a Body You Have, Honey (2001) and collaborated with Xavier Le Roy on the solo Giszelle, in which she is a performer. Since then she has worked on numerous shows and performances and collaborated with theaters and museums around the world. She is the winner of the Evens Art Prize 2019 and the La vie bonne call for projects of the National Center for Plastic Arts (FR) and Aware: Archive of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions, in 2020. She currently lives and works between Berlin, Paris and Budapest and is pursuing her art doctorate at the National Academy of Arts, KHiO, in Oslo.
