Fabio Liberti
Fabio Liberti began his studies at the Balletto Teatro di Torino, continuing and graduating from the Codarts – Rotterdam Dance Academy in 2004. He collaborates with various companies in Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Denmark. Freelance choreographer, Fabio Liberti has received numerous awards: 1st prize at the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition 2018 (Holland); 1st prize at Skopje DansLab International Competition 2017 (Macedonia); 2nd prize at the Solo Dance Contest 2017 in Gdansk (Poland); 1st prize at the Warsaw Zawirowania Dance International Choreographic Competition 2016 (Poland); Critics’ Award at the Hannover International Choreographic Competition 2014 (Germany).
His works have been staged in numerous European festivals and he has created choreographies for Denmark Dance Theater (Denmark), Dark Circles Contemporary Dance (Texas), Mainfranken Theater Würzburg (Germany), EDGE Dance Company (England), NORRDANS Dance Company ( Sweden). In Denmark his works have also been presented in the main modern art museums (Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Charlottenborg Museum, Den Frie Center of Contemporary Art). In 2020 he founded his independent company MUOVI based in Denmark
