Floor Robert
Floor Robert was born and raised in the Netherlands. Already at a very young age she became passionate about clowning and theater. At 16 she arrived in Florence and at 20 began studying movement with Raffaella Giordano and Claudia Castellucci, theater at Barbara Nativi’s Laboratorio Nove. In 2008 she was awarded a special mention in the Hystrio Prize. Since 2014 she has started her own path of independent creation, of which “INFLUENZA” is her first solo show.
She works as a performer for Kinkaleri, Tardito-Rendina, Marco D’Agostin, Francesco Michele Laterza and others. Since 2015 she has combined her work as an author and performer with that of a designer using the name La Pler. In 2021 she translated a children’s book entitled NORTH. Floor curates performances and educational projects, creates costumes and props, for her own company and others. She teaches theater, dance and drawing.
