Hermes Gaido

Hermes Gaido, director, playwright, actor, musician, pedagogue and filmmaker, trained in theater with Alejandro Saez and studied at the Conservatory of Dramatic Art. As a performer he participates in several shows including “Dicen que el espíritu” by Paco Redondo, “Orquesta la giganta” at the San Martin Cultural Center, or “Macbeth” with the group Sisyphus. In 2005 he joined the renowned percussion group Choque Urbano. In 2009, with Luciano Rosso, he founded and directs the company Urraka. Also in 2009, he directs “Un Poyo Rojo,” performed for several seasons in Buenos Aires and then toured worldwide, including at the Théâtre du Rond-Point from 2016 to 2021. In October 2022, he presents “Dystopia,” with Luciano Rosso and Alfonso Barón, at the Théâtre du Rond-Point.
