Marcela Serli
Marcela Serli, Argentine actress, playwright and director of Italian-Lebanese descent is graduated in Contemporary Dramaturgy. She undertakes a theatrical journey that alongside the themes of political and moral intolerance, intersperses stylistic research on the mixing of genres, the globalization of language, and ideological chaos applied to artistic concepts. Wins the 2018 – 2020 Call for Artistic Residencies of FVG with his own project: UFO, unidentified art residencies for which he signs the artistic direction. She directs the Atopos Theatre Company with which he makes two trilogies on the genre and wins the 2010 Dante Cappelletti Prize To the Performing Arts. A documentary has also been made about Atopos and presented in several international festivals, and two documentaries have also been dedicated to his work and several theses have been written about his theatrical journey at the University of Trieste, Gorizia, Pisa, and the Statale di Milano. She signs the dramaturgy and direction of about forty shows in Italy and abroad. She builds theater projects on what are now considered minorities, collaborating with Stable Theaters, Tric and National Theaters, both Italian and foreign. She is a founding member of AMLETA, a social promotion association whose aim is to combat gender inequality and violence in the performing arts.
