Orlando Izzo e Angelo Petracca

Angelo Petracca, born in Bari on 10/09/1984, began his studies in his hometown before moving to Rome where he studied the Cunningham technique with maestro D. Verga He dances with the company ATON DinoVergaDanza from 2007 to 2009. Begins research on body languages between Berlin and London (Theo Clinkard). Dances with companies Altradanza in Bari, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Menhir/Giulio De Leo, Interno5 for works by A. Tudisco and B. Sicca, Compagnia Nexus/Simona Bertozzi. With the choreography Trattato semiserio di oculistica, in duet with Orlando Izzo, he wins DNAppuntiCoreografici showcase at Romaeuropa Festival and is selected for the 2017 Young Author Dance Showcase with Studio sulla Purezza.

Orlando Izzo studies with national and international artists. He has been working in Helen Cerina’s Hyperrealisms since 2014. He participated in the 2015 edition of Nuove Traiettorie XL – training paths for young authors | Network Anticorpi XL action coordinated by Associazione Cantieri and in Volcano #2 – choreography and complexity directed by Simona Bertozzi and Enrico Pitozzi. Collaborates in Kyūjo by Annalì Rainoldi and in ACROSS THE BORDER by Antonello Tudisco. Selected for the 2016 Young Author Dance Showcase with VIB – Vibrations in body. Winner of the DNAppunti Coreografici showcase at RomaEuropaFestival with Trattato Semiserio di Oculistica, in duet with Angelo Petracca. In 2016 he dances for Daniele Ninarello in Blink of Liberation. In 2017 he works with SZENE 2WEI inklusive tanzkompanie for the #ATME project and with Simona Bertozzi/Compagnia Nexus.
