Paola Gabrielli

Paola Gabrielli, born and raised in Cles in Val di Non, after high school and music studies in singing and piano, graduated in Trento with a degree in Modern Literature with a specialization in Art History. She probed the world of ancient writings in all their many forms: from cataloguing ancient books, to the study of private documentary and chancery forms, graduating in Archivistics, Paleography and Diplomatics at the State Archives of Bolzano and later landing in historical research with the University and the Historical Museum of Trento. She has worked for municipalities, provinces and museums in the cultural field and collaborates with various associations in the area: the Bolzano Writers’ Association; Kunst Grenzen-Border Art of Roveré della Luna; and the Arzberg Valle di Non Group. In recent years he has combined writing with teaching in high school literature and art (mandala painting) in the area and in schools with workshops for children and youth . She has danced since 2010 for Francesca Lilith Miceli’s oriental dance company and since 2018 tribal dance with Cristiana Madia. She has studied color according to the Aura-Soma method (you are the colors you choose), of which she is a practitioner (consultant) and experimented with various painting techniques (acrylic, watercolor, oil and charcoal), finally specializing as a teacher in mandala painting. She currently sings in the Claudio Monteverdi Chorale of the Val di Non Reported in several poetry competitions, I published in 2016 the novel “I sommersi e i salvati” published by Curcu & Genovese, from which a single and a video clip were made (the novel was also selected in November 2021 in the Navarro International Prize); in 2018 I published “L’Ombra di Omero,” in 2020 “Il gatto di Omero” for Fontana editore and in 2021 “Voci dalla montagna”.
