TC Howard

TC Howard is a British choreographer and dancer. She graduated from Middlesex Polytechnic with a First Class (Hons) degree in Performing Arts (dance major). She has worked as a performer/teacher with the David Glass Ensemble in “The Hansel & Gretel Machine” and “The Lost Child” as part of an international project working with street children and care workers in the Third World. She choreographed for Frantic Assembly’s Sold, winner of a Time Out award and “Clash” for Ludus Dance Company.  In 2006 TC conceived and co-directed “Fairy Tale” with VDT, a production for 6 – 8 year olds, which drew on her vast experience of working with young people. In 2009/10 TC worked as Artistic Advisor for Generate, a project to develop children’s dance theatre with DanceWorks UK.  In addition to her work as a professional performer, she is involved in community-focused educational programs, children’s and figure theater, film, and visual arts through installations and site-specific productions . She currently conducts workshops focused on gender and identity for Yorkshire Dance’s Company of People , encouraging exchange, dialogue, and shared practice among a wide range of artists and community groups.
