WHO IS IT FOR?

DNAppunti choreografici is addressed to individual Italian choreographers or groups under the age of 35: artists must not have been born before 1989.

AIM

The goal of the project is to select an Italian choreographer or a group with an idea to develop. Subsequently, the artist or group will participate in a research process and will be supported in different ways: creative residencies, critical supervision and mentoring activities, economic resources and performances of the final result in front of an audience.

WHAT THE CALL FOR ENTRIES OFFERS

The winning project of the 2024 edition of DNAppunti choreografici will get, thanks to the partners’ contributions, an overall production support defined as follows: 

– 37 days of artistic residency in the year 2025; 

– total economic contribution of up to 18,500.00 euros;

– 5 performances of the final result of the project as part of the partners’ programming.

DNAppunti coreografici is a support project for young Italian choreographers under the age of 35, promoted and supported by a collaboration between the Virgilio Sieni – National center for the Production of Dance , Operaestate Festival/CSC Centro per la scena contemporanea del Comune di Bassano del Grappa, L’arboreto – Teatro Dimora | Centro di Residenza Emilia Romagna, the Romaeuropa Foundation, Bologna’s Gender Bender Festival, and Triennale Milano Teatro.
