This danced elegy, woven with suspended moments where love and death provide the backdrop, reflects both Raimund Hoghe’s iconographic and musical palette and Emmanuel Eggermont’s kinesthetic imagination.

From the whimsy of an imaginary faun to the syncopated passion of Josephine Baker, Eggermont multiplies his evocations, offering many points of entry for the audience—especially for those encountering this universe for the first time.
