BALLETTI CON ZUZU
Beyond the extraordinary personality and sensitivity of her comics, ZUZU is adored by her social media followers for her wild living-room dance sessions. At Gender Bender we celebrate the liberating joy of dancing—for oneself and with others—starting with a playlist specially created by the cartoonist for half an hour of “ballet with ZUZU.” Come and let loose with us!

ZUZU is an artist born in Salerno. At the age of twenty-three, she published Cheese, her award-winning debut comic book, and in 2021, Giorni felici (Happy Days), a book nominated for the Strega Prize. Both works have been translated into French, Spanish, and German. In 2025, Ragazzo (Boy), her third comic book, was released. She hosted the Fumetti Mon Amour segment on Rai’s Play Books program. She also works as a screenwriter for film and television and as an illustrator for international magazines. She draws and dances whenever she can. She is vegan, in love with Pigi, and their dog is named Edison.
