CUMA

A show by Michele Ifigenia/Tyche
Italy | duration 15′

4 shows for this event

A powerful solo inspired by the figure of the Cumaean Sibyl, legendary priestess of Apollo, presented in a contemporary key through the body of the dancer-prophetess. The sudden changes in her movements is the result of the embodiment of the goddess, a possession, whose presence transforms her features as part of a rapid choreographic progression. The resulting energy takes the possibilities of dance to the extreme and transports the audience to an ancestral universe with an intense and penetrating atmosphere.

Includes scenes of full nudity
