After the film, Q&A with the director Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian

In recent years, the myth of space travel has reemerged in the collective imagination, exposing new capitalist and colonial ambitions: settlements on Mars, ultra-luxury space tourism, and highly polluting corporations led by figures like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. But is there an alternative? Can space be approached through decolonial, feminist, and queer perspectives?
Through interviews with an astronomer, a neurogeneticist, an economist, a transgender activist, and a quantum physicist, Algerian director Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian challenges audiences to question power structures and reject planetary exploitation, urging us to abandon the constraints of borders, genders, and religions in order to embrace the diversity that could reshape the vast landscape of our imagination.
