HEALING TOGETHER

A show by Daniele Ninarello

The idea for this new group work grew out of a series of short choreographic actions—silent protests—performed during the lockdown and dedicated to the concept of the body of protest. The aim is to create a process in which the performers can surrender to a space built collectively and reveal their vulnerable bodies.

Four bodies offer themselves to the community, exposing their fragility and open wounds, giving themselves over to a dance generated by their own stream of consciousness. Within this shared, co-created space, the performers translate every thought, desire, and restrained impulse into words and gestures, generating in real time a liberating, revolutionary choreographic score.
