ph: Stanislav Dobak

A singular feminist manifesto celebrating the revolutionary figure of Ida Rubinstein, Sergei Diaghilev’s muse and legendary dancer of the Russian Ballets, through ironic and playful dance. Bold and provocative, visionary and a pioneer of performance art, Rubinstein offered new life to art, freeing it from preconceptions and imagining new codes. Using movement, storytelling and music, Lara Barsacq performance fills the stage with love and humor and offers a poetic tribute to the originality of this artist.
