A staged ecstatic ritual that takes inspiration from the magical and violent imagery of the demonic sabbath, and quotes “The Night Battles” by Carlo Ginzburg’s among its sources of inspiration. Magnetic and disturbing, the dancer’s body incarnates the archetype of the goddess-witch and leads us on a journey of transfiguration: using two scythes, traditional agricultural tools, she retraces the gestures and movements of ancient fertility-related rituals. A divinity on stage that gives the audience a performance full of energy and mysticism.
