LA ROBOTERIE

The special event bringing the 24th edition of Gender Bender to a close could only be a hybrid affair, where performance becomes music and music becomes performance. The opening set, starting at 11.00 pm, will be curated by Dan Kinzelman, a festival guest who will present an electronic and experimental sound to be experienced with both mind and body. The second guest is BoyRebecca, whose unconventional show – blending DJ sets and live performance – will bring her visual and sonic world to life, a world of contrasts, deconstructed dance sounds and lyrics that are at times grotesque and provocative. Finally, St.Robot and Backdrifter – the two driving forces behind the queer techno project La Roboterie – will take us through to the first light of dawn.
