With a political dance that critically explores conformity to patterns, Aristide Rontini brings his body to the stage and creates a dialogue with the legacy of Pasolini’s Corsair Writings, in which the writer uses the metaphor of the “disappearance of fireflies” to forcefully criticize conformism. For the choreographer, this legacy is the tool with which the body becomes a place for transformations and imaginative visions. Dance carries a diversity that is no longer just a wish; it is fully experienced. This solo is part of the Rifrazioni project, winner of the Ministerial Call for Accessible Performing Arts.
