LO SBILICO
Presentation of Alcide Pierantozzi‘s book in conversation with Luca Starita

What happens when you don’t recognize your own reflection in the mirror and your mental balance gives way to hallucinations and paranoia? In this extraordinary novel, Alcide Pierantozzi recounts his daily life as a person with psychiatric disorders with disarming power. From diagnosis to medicalization to the endless hours of the present mingling with the past, reality seems to pass him by like the wind: fleeting, uncertain, elusive.
Alcide Pierantozzi tells us about his “imbalance” and shows us how mental health is also made up of the body, desires, and relationships. A hymn to life, the logbook of a lost mind that always, always tries to save itself.
