SUSPENDED CHORUS

A show by Silvia Gribaudi

1 show for this event

In SUSPENDED CHORUS Silvia Gribaudi takes the stage alone, yet she is never truly alone. By embracing both the vitality and mortality of her body – now in her fifties – she celebrates its strength and beauty, while also acknowledging its decline and the limitations that come with ageing. In a theatrical space that invites the audience to become a collective and essential chorus, Gribaudi engages the spectators in a dialogue through movement and words.
Inspired by dance pioneers such as Pina Bausch, Isadora Duncan and Anna Pavlova, SUSPENDED CHORUS challenges established ideals of beauty and celebrates the strength and power of the collective.
