VAKKA: Be your own Basilisk

VAKKA features BAPTISM (they/she/he), a DJ and performer from Milan. Between 2016 and 2019 they switched from free parties in the northern Italian outskirts to launching the underground party Bratzcore in Milan, where they settled and co-founded Spite: a digital group with which they organize free queer parties, radio showcases and multidisciplinary projects. Their setting and performances are a sweet gash in a bouncy loudspeaker, fun pop music beating at 170 bpm , the sound of the bass being played delicately against the concrete of a shed. The party will continue with Nikulo, a DJ originally from former Soviet territories that has been shaped in Italy.
