Silvia Gribaudi is one of Italy’s leading performers and choreographers. Her constant research on nonconforming bodies has led her to work over the past decade with women over 60 years old from all over Italy, who hadn’t had artistic or performance experience, but she gently led them to cross the boundaries that society imposes on them. This documentary bears witness to Gribaudi’s work with two women, who rediscover their bodies and souls through dance and through their relationship with Silvia and her deep artistic research.
Silvia Gribaudi and the film’s leading actresses will be present at the screening.
In case of bad weather, the event will be hosted at the DAMSLab Auditorium in Piazzetta Pier Paolo Pasolini 5/b. Follow the updates on Gender Bender’s social networks.

Andrea Zanoli (Bergamo, 1981) is a cameraman and documentary filmmaker. He has been involved in the production of numerous audiovisual works (short films, commercials, documentaries and music videos) as editor, camera operator and director since 2004. He works in the organisation of the Bergamo Film Meeting Festival, in particular he is part of the selection committee for the Visti da vicino documentary section. He is involved in the Premio Avanti project as a selector of films by new Italian authors from various festivals.
