The Garden

A show by Gaetano Palermo
Italy | duration: 30’
National première

4 shows for this event

The Garden is a motionless dance, an overexposed vision of an absolute icon in the dark chamber of an Italian-style theater. A female body lies prone on the ground, inert, immersed in a flow of sounds that is capable of redefining its boundaries each time. The body has been abandoned, it has fallen. It dreams, it dies. A vibrant body under the low illumination of a spotlight with no show, nor spectators. Fusing cinema, theater, sports, performance and DJ sets, The Garden questions our habits as viewers. It invites us to become active players of the drama that we are watching.
