Giulio Santolini

Giulio Santolini (Ferrara – 1993) is a performer, choreographer and stage movement teacher who has been active for 10 years in the field of contemporary dance and experimental theater. After a training in anarchic and deconstructed dance and a diploma as an actor at the Accademia del Teatro Stabile del Veneto Carlo Goldoni, he collaborates as a performer with several companies in the national and international performance scene, such as CollettivO CineticO/Francesca Pennini, Enzo Cosimi, Sotterraneo, La Veronal/Marcos Morau, Compañia Sharon Fridman and others. He has been teaching stage movement and performance since 2018 at various higher education courses. He attends the course “The Bodies and Voices of Dance,” a high theoretical-practical training course for young choreographers*. With the company Sotterraneo, whose choreographies he curates, he won 2 Ubu prizes for best performance of the year: in 2019 with “Overload” and in 2022 with “L’Angelo della Storia.” He is currently in production with his first choreographic work entitled “THE BACCANTI – suck with glory.”
