At Gender Bender we present the opening of the photographic exhibition “Esplorazioni sul desiderio”, featuring shots taken by Blubanana Studio in the spring of 2023 during a workshop aimed at educators and animators with disabilities from the Calamaio Project of the Accaparlante Cooperative. The workshop focused on the emotional and sexual lives of people with disabilities in a journey that made them protagonists of their own needs and desires. An opportunity to reiterate the importance of listening to new points of view outside common stereotypes about disabilities.

Progetto Calamaio- Coop. Accaparlante – Il Progetto Calamaiowhich is the historic educational project of Coop. Accaparlante di Bologna, which has been working for forty years on issues about disability through the dissemination of the culture of inclusion.
Gruppo Elettrogeno Teatro- L’associazione Gruppo Elettrogeno Teatro is involved in the dissemination of theatrical art through the implementation of training projects, production of performances and events such as festivals and reviews.
Comitato Lovegiver: born in 2013 in Bologna is the first and only professionalizing training course in the field of sexual assistance to people with disabilities in Italy. Association President Max Ulivieri, a member of the Diversity Team of the Municipality of Bologna, is now engaged with the Committee in a strong communication and awareness-raising effort on the issue of sexuality for all.
Blubanana Studio: is a photography studio that was born from the meeting of two photographers (Anna and Fabio) united by the desire to seek different points of view on things and curiosity about stories and people.
