Flirting, kissing, masturbation, ableism and sex are the topics of this documentary that explores the sexuality of people with disabilities. Through a first-person narrative of the protagonists who come from different backgrounds, the film attempts to deconstruct the prejudice that wants them to be asexual, angelic, and deprived of desires.

Daniel Gonçalves graduated in journalism from PUC-Rio and postgraduate in documentary cinema from FGV-Rio. He worked at TV Globo and is now a partner at SeuFilme. He directed the short documentaries Got any Es? (2008), Guide Light (2012), What Would It Be Like? (2014) and Along the Road (2015). My Name Is Daniel, his first feature film, has been screened at over 20 festivals including IDFA, Rio IFF, São Paulo IFF, Sydney FF, FICCI and Mostra de Tiradentes.
