Lettere Romane

A show by Alessandro Fullin and Marco Barbieri

1 show for this event

Poet Marco Barbieri and actor Alessandro Fullin meet on stage in order to read a surreal correspondence that involves the false discovery of a terracotta epistolary between two middle-aged Roman matrons: Flavia and Drusilla introduce us to their friendship by telling us about a world that has been terrorized by barbarian invasions and surprised by the birth of Christianity. False epigrams and real tragedies, weary sibyls and enthusiastic prophets, radiant gladiators and dark catacombs populate a faraway world that is intertwined on stage with the present thanks to the brilliant irony of the two performers.
