REFACE is a physical and musical investigation based on the idea of transformation. An ongoing process in which the faces and bodies of the two performers change incessantly before our eyes through the use of tape, wigs and makeup A dance that constantly changes form and register, where the performers appear from time to time funny, scary, innocent, disturbing and grotesque. A relentless and every time surprising metamorphosis that shows the complexity and ambiguities of what we are or represent. However, it is also a place to play and be surprised.

Accessibility
Les Idoles are Chandra Grangean and Lise Messina. They met in 2012 at the National High Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon. They worked together with Maguy Marin and in 2022 founded Les Idoles. Their research seeks to borrow (elitist and popular) references and step into someone else’s shoes, while having fun playing with codes and changing one’s point of view as far as the relationship with the audience is concerned.
